First I'll want to say : Sorry... sorry because I'm very in your language... so the discussion wil be difficult sometimes but we could try ...
I'm Mike and I leaved in France in 200 km of the North of Paris
I'm fond of Vw beetle and Type 2 and of course Honda
Before I had a 75 beetle, a 65 and now it's an 67 combi split (it comes from your country : Californie ! lol !)
With Honda I had ŕ 89 crx, a 93 prelude and now a crv

coilovers designed for the CRV are expensive. I got my Skunk2 accord coilovers for 340$ tax in locally. My KYB-GR2's are 125$ each tax in locally. A set of K Sports would have cost me 400$ more, and i would have had to wait 4-6 weeks to get them, then if i needed warrenty i would have had to wait 8-12 weeks to get them replaced. Not gonna happen.
