Car originally had a burnt valve so we pulled the head had the valve replaced, head surfaced etc.

I installed the head, timed perfectly. Good compression. Lash set according to spec .005/.008. New RichPorter Industries distributor, new ngk plugs and wires. Ive installed injectors from a vehicle with no issues.

Car will start and run rough once given gas it wants to back fire, sputter, bog down and will eventually die.

Exhaust smells of unburnt fuel.

I'm unsure where to go from here aside from leak down.

Check engine light is not on and it does cycle as it should.

Car will hold idle but as soon as gas is touched it acts up.

Double check your mechanical timing and ignition timing. Are you sure you have the right injectors?

It did the same thing on the original b20 injectors. I'm using injectors from a y8. Both should be 240cc

Seems to be a clogged cat.
