Default 98 crv

I have a 98 crv it won't start it has fuel and spark it tries to start but won't I put a new fuel filter in and checked for pressure it has when it does start you try to give it throttle it dies any help is appreciated

distributor is the common cause of failure on these cars. try swapping it out for a known good one and see what happens. Your symptoms sound like mine when my distributor went bad but this only happened when it was warm. When it was cold it would fire right up.

My ignition control module is what failed in my distributor

Clogged catalytic comverters are more notorious. Pull out a O2 sensor or disconnect the exhaust before the converter and see if symptoms improve. You need to do some more checks and report back.

Thank you on distributor got it running but now it stutters like it has a miss could it be plugs I pulled one out it didn't look to good
