2006 Honda Element EX Keyless Entry Questions
Hello, I have a new to me 06 Element EX that came with no key fobs. From my readings, I believe this model should have come standard with this option.
However, I'm having trouble tracking down a new fob because I don't have the FCC ID number from the old fob. Can I get this number from somewhere on the car or from the dealer or am I looking at replacing the receiving unit in addition to the fobs to restore function?
Also, I'm still somewhat confused with regards to which fobs will work with my car. Can someone tell me what models came with fobs compatible with the 06 Element EX?

Well, I answered my own question. I found the location of the receiving unit under the steering wheel and the FCC ID# was on it. Now, I need to find a fob on ebay and order it.
