Honda CRV 2003-- Auto transmission with ABS brakes, the car won't shift out of park without by-passing each time we move it. Shifter was working fine when the brake line broke just as we were pulling the car off the ramp after some other work. Brake lines were repaired, and the entire brake system has been bled but the transmission is still stuck in park. We bi-passed this to move the car and to test the brakes. Brakes are still spongy, but functional.

Why is the car transmission still stuck in Park?
