2000 CRV AWD w/5 speed- compat. with civic suspension parts
Hey Everyone,
So the short-end of a long story is I had a 1993 Honda Civic hatch that I completely rebuilt, but unfortunately, under Hurricane Sandy's influence, a tree fell on its roof, totaling it.
A friend sold me a CRV he had for pretty cheap, but it has a couple issues with end-links, lower control arms, bushings etc...
I had just entirely rebuilt my civic's suspension, including new roll-bars, end-links, bushings, etc..
My question is: are any of my civic parts interchangeable with my CRV? I have new lower control arms, upper control arms, a rear disc swing arms, camber arms, 24mm front, and 14mm rear sway bars from my civic that I could swap over. Any insight or personal experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

The suspension you have will fit for the most part. The fronts just bolt in with the stock CRV forks, just the rears you'll need to make brackets to bolt the suspension on top of the control arm, because CRV's are like how Type R integra's and 98 accord rear control arms are.
I made those to use my F&F on mine. If you had the rear camber kit, that will work on the CRV as well. I'm pretty sure the front sway bars will work as well.

Most of it wont swap. Swaybars maybe, same with the camber kit for the rear. None of the other stuff will swap.

How do you think everyone lowers their CRV? With EG civic or DC Integra suspension, why because it bolts right in on the front.
Integra Type R's bolt right in place front and back, and same with mid to late 90's accords.
Check some info before telling bullshit.
A lot of parts from other Honda's fit these CRV's, you just need to find the info from other peoples builts and see what they use.

OP didn't ask about shocks, which do bolt on.
EG upper control arms don't fit, this is a fact, go look at them, they're not even remotely the same as far as how they bolt to the vehicle.
Rear trailing arms are again, totally different.
Rear Control arms? Different.
Front lower control arms? Different, similar to EM1 control arms, but different geometry.
I would suggest you check some info before you call bullshit.

As far as sway bars go I checked an aftermarket rear sway bar and an OEM from a 99-00Civic Si and it was still different compared to the CR-Vs. I was sort of hoping an S2000 would work too, but it wasn't wide enough.
