Default ZC swap intake question

So I read I can't use the intake manifold from my Si engine on my ZC. If this is true, what should I go get?

Get a ZC intake manifold. None of the other D-series IMs will fit (outside of the ~'89 Integra manifold -d16a1)

^^ correct.
You can also send your mani and TB to Maxbore to get bored out...but a different D series SOHC mani will not work on the DOHC ZC

Yes, but......

You guys are not telling him that as far as parts go, the d16a6 is identical to the SOHC ZC, all parts are interchangeable.............The DOHC ZC is in a ball park all by itself.

The exhaust side works regardless of it being a DOHC or SOHC ZC.

yea it will work, the sohc zc is essentially exactly the same motor as a d16a6, just a little more aggressive cam...but any d16 or d15 sohc intake manifold will swap over...so if you have a few extra bucks layin around i would go with the z6 or y8 manifold, personally i prefer the z6, has longer runners and is a little torqueier (if thats a word)
