STD= sexually transmitted desease(sp)

or here on ht std= standard(not dx,si, ect ect) just the basics pal.

it means standard..u kno da civics with 4 speed instead of 5..

I hope the OP is respecting the condom...


STD was the EF's version of CX. I can't really remember if it was really a designation, but I remember seeing a sticker for a CRX as "CRX (STANDARD)", as in a hint that it had no options.

I currently have two as well, owned 3 total.

They are a bare bones civic, rarely mentioned anywhere, sometimes people mistakenly call them a 'civic hf'


They have a 70 HP DPFI motor
They have a 4 speed trans than no-one seems to know the gear ratios to.

Hah, thats about it...

vinyl interior, no center console, no lighter, no nothing.

I have seen them in the light blue, red, and white colors. Mine are blue, and white.

gear ratios are the same as the CRX HF 1 thru 4 with final drive same as the DX

mine had almost 200000 miles before i pulled the motor, also its the lightest of the EF models
