Re: Will 95 Civic camber kit fit a 91 CRX si? (White90SiHatch)
I called several places (King Motorsports, Progress Group, Options Auto Salon) and they all said that the kits were generation-specific. In other words, they said "No."
But, that doesn't mean it can't be done. I saw in the latest Honda Tuning that a guy in there used EG lower forks on his EF. So at least some stuff is interchangeable. Maybe some expert will respond to this thread.
I just bought the Progress camber kit for the 88-91's because I figure the guys at Progress know what they're doing. What's nice about the Skunk2 EG kits is they come with upper control arms and the Progress EF kit doesn't. But once again I figured Progress made a good kit specific to each generation for a reason.
It's one of those things you have to deal with b/c we have older cars, I guess.

The very simple answer is; NO, you can't use the upper control arms from a 5th generation civic on a 4th generation car!
As for "bolt-on" options there is only two ways to go.
One is to use an "offset" ball joint. The other is to have adjustable offset bushings (where it attaches to the body).
It is possible to custom fabricate upper arms that are equivalent to the Skunk2 ones, but to make it really worth while, you would also have to notch the frame rail to clear them. Here is a link to what I'm talknig about;

Re: (insomniac791)
dont get the jcwhitney kits....i ordered that kit and had nothing but problems...i installed and uninstalled 3 times and adjusted them and still ended up with the upper arms hitting the rail in the fender well...they may have sent the wrong kit but i verified all part numbers to no avail...and btw.....that kit is per wheel as well...found out the hard way...

Re: (88 rex)
The control arms are not interchangeable. When you see camber kits that will fit the 88-95 Civic, they are the upright replacements that push out the entire control arm. As for the balljoints, the balljoints are a little different on the 88-91 compared to the 92-95 civic. Hope this helps.
