i have the whole honda accessories book from 1990 at home... there is a battery warmer thing for really cold climates that i've never seen, but i guess if i lived somewhere colder i might have seen one.

a lot of things that were considered accessories most people got. like the passenger's side mirror, clock, fenderwell trim (aka RUST/CANCER CAUSER). then there's the fogs, louvers, armrest, window and sunroof visors, car cover, cockpit cover (just covers the top half of the car), mud flaps, leather steering wheel cover... and lots of radio and wheel options

No offense man, but just seems kinda stupid to pay $9k for a stock rex. It's clean, but by no means worth that much.

Possibly rare but I don't know.
It was a CRX Si in the mall parking lot. It had oem looking seats that I have never seen before. They had CRX in red stiching and red "trim" running down the bolsters. They kind of looked like the Recaros out of the newer Jetta GLi

Wish I had pics anyone else ever see these before?

I've seen worse though. It just pisses me off, I sold a 89SI with 83K, Cleanest Interior you ever saw, and about the nicest body you'd seen as well. It was all stock except an OBX Exhaust, and a Wings West kit. It even had a fresh paint job! Selling price:$3500. i agree it is kinda ridiculous to pay top dollar for jdm parts.just cause its from japan.but i would want that thing that says DOHC in the rearhatch window.

No, but when something happens to the REX (IE: wreck, fire, tree, stolen) what do you think he will get back?

Here in Norway the VT's go for around $10.000 (NOK 80.000) bone stock , and the 16v goes for about $5.000 (NOK 40.000). For comparison the '02 EDM CTR with 7.000km cost $37.500 (NOK 300.000).

Yeah....things are quite expensive over here

schwanginpt has to have the cleanest crx i've ever seen. That thing is sweet, good job man . As far as extra options the only thing that i have is the floor mats and the radio block plate ( which was purchased new at a honda dealership after someone stole my radio .... bastards...)

He will get back whatever he insures it for, all he has to do is fax a copy of the auction and proof of purchase to his insurance company and im sure they will adjust his rates accordingly

So your telling me there is no way, NO WAY that he can insure his car for what he paid for it with ANY company, thats a pretty hefty claim your making considering theres a ton or rare cars etc out there, isnt after 15 years it considered a classic, or maybe thats just Canada, your right compared to you I might know **** about insurance, you and all of your 3 years experience, you must be an actuary or something
If thats the case then explain to me whats the point of an appraisel? for ANY car then.

Agree for the most part there.

As far as classics, I don't know about the rest of the country, but for a car to be considered antique or classic here it has to be 25-30 yrs I believe.
