Weird problem with fan motor and stereo.
So I took out my fan motor assembly box thing from my 88 Civic DX today because it wasn't working. (GOD I HATE AC!) No fuses were blown and a really bad burning wire/burning solder smell filled the car before the motor stopped working. 99% sure it was the fan motor. The weird thing was that the stereo stopped working as well.. thought it was just because the motor was shorting out.
Tested the fan motor on the bench and IT WORKED. Figured some junk just got on the motor brushes and it just need to be banged around a bit.
So I put everything back together and everything worked again.. (even the stereo)
now the fan motor slows down from time to time and the stereo sort of cuts out..
Anyone have any ideas? thought I'd ask first before looking at some wiring diagrams.
Thanks.

Re: (2point2)
That is weird ... I would look at the wiring schematic and see what those 2 circuts have in common whether it be a ground or a power source. 99% of most electrical problems is a loose connection of some sort ....

sounds like a loose connection thats sparking while jumping and burning some plastic shielding off the wire... thats my guess... check your grounds and look for burnt wires.
