ok guys back from the dead! i finally got time to post
so as i was building this car my lil bro thought the car was pretty cool so he when out and found this rt4wd wagon, its really rotted on the rear quarters but everything else is sound. the car has 112k miles VERY GOOD SHAPE MECHANICALLY
NOW BACK TO THE BUILD!
pistons and rods installed
i did gap the rings!
pulled the ls POS trans apart 3rd gear was just destroyed, wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt work.... so i got a rebuild kit
rebuild kit....
assembled and done!
engine complete
dropped in...
done!
Let engine break in
idle to opp temp
3k for 20 mins
driving i shifted at 3k for 1k miles
4k for 500 miles
changed oil
testing how fast she was...... ****ER RIPS!!!!!! it feels faster than my type r haha havent raced the two side by side yet... dont let my friends drive unless im drunk haha
