Wagovan Rear Brakes
Hello, 91 FWD Wagon rear brakes. anybody know what the deal is on those? I am researching putting disc on the rear, but for now, I need to stop the car. It seems the wagon has brakes of it's own, nothing else fits and nobody has parts I need...or there is a lot of questions if they will even fit. The drum seems to be almost 8" across.
My question is are they 180mm or 200mm across, and what would you do, Upgrading the front was easy...the rear? still a very low pedal, and a poor stop.
well thanks,
shoots dirty diapers!

Ha! That thing is awesome!
There are some adapter brackets out there for installing integra rear discs.
Here is one example.

I haven't done them yet. I found shoes and slave rebuilds for mine a while back. Also went to the 10.3" integra front and kept the original 14" white steels that are on the RT. My brakes are not low and mushy.
Seems Rock Auto still has plenty of drum brake parts.

Love the Battle Wagon!
rockauto is where I bought my wagon rear brakes from... rotors, shoes, and wheel cylinders. For whatever reason, there are more wagon parts if you look up for '89.
