Default vTach issues

Alright a buddy of mine has a 90 civic SI that has a B16A swap and the tach is jumping around and will not show a proper reading on the stock one or the Auto meter tach that is in the car. and i was just wondering what it could be.Also i was wondering how hard it is to rewire the front corner lights since the orignal owner took them out.

Not the correct forum for this question.....but it is most likely the ignitor.

On my 4dr my tack was jumping erratically. I found the blue tack wire was loose at the connection to the ignitor box on the distributor. I reclammped it and it has worked fine since.
