Default valve cover stud is stripped

like the title says i got a striped valve cover stud.i tighted the crown nut down now it wont come lose.it just spins.anyone have any ideal how to get it off.ill try anything i need to get it off.

lol yea wont come lose just spin,and now it wont tighten up just spin.i need some good ideals on how to get it to come off so i can fix it?

well i knew it was getting striped,and when i changed the timng belt and put the valve cover back on the stud took a **** on me.now i cant get the crown nut off to change it.i cant get under the cover to cut it off.im looking for some ghetto *** ideals to get it off?

or try prying the cover up and see if you can get the nut to bite for ya.

+1 this has worked for me everytime. i have a whole bag of those damned ***** studs, just in case.
