Default Turn signal problems, gauge cluster problems.

89 hatch. Turn signals don't work. Lights all work, 4 ways, high beams break lights blah blah blah.
Changed out the relay, the switch on the steering column, checked all the fuses. The only thing I can think of would be a ground. Has anyone had this problem and know where to start looking. I checked all the grounds in the back of the car. It has to be under the dash or something in the engine compartment.
Next would be the gauge cluster. The fuel gauge and temp gauge don't work. All the other lights I.E. e-brake, high beams etc and the speedo work. I'm presuming this must also be a bad ground somehwhere under the dash. I know this gauge cluster works.
Anyone know where these grounds would be located. I bought this piece(and its a piece lol) about 6-8 months ago. It was pretty messed up cosmetically, it didnt run and the wring was a mess. I have just about replaced everything inside ad out. I didn't pull out the dash and start rewiring the whole thing. Anyone who has ever done that before knows how much of a pain that is. And I've done it a few times. I usually post in the integra forum but now have finally gotten this beast running. So you'll probably see me lurking around this forum from time to time.
By the way its an 89 dx hatch with a 90 si motor in it. Full si wiring harness. I didn't do the chassis harness so thats probably whats wrong with it. And I'm certain its somewhere under the dash. I have the full 90 chassis harness I can use but thats a big pain and I don't want to do that. Seeing as how I sold the dash and gauge cluster for the 90 already I cant really use it and I don't want to.
TIA Kris

2 things.

do your hazards work?

do your turn signal themselves turn on, just not the dash indicators?

Yes the hazzards work. The turn signals do not work at all. Hit the switch and nothing inside or outside of the car. The corner and tail lights work they just don't flash lol.

i had a problem that was driving me crazy which was where my tach, clock, turnsignals, and backup lights did'nt work and it kept blowing this one fuse in the underdash fusebox, and i was gong to look at all that crap, cause i like to see if i can figure stuff out and try and avoid taking it in, but my friend told me about this electrical place thats pretty honest and family owned and they charged me about 60 bucks for the time and labor, and ended up they just put some kind of circuit breaker (like a resetting fuse) and they said it just goes in the fuse hole that previously had the one that kept blowing, and i have'nt had a problem since, they work fine, even know they said they did'nt find the "real" problem or what was causing the fuse to blow, but what they did was good enough for me, cause all i wanted was it to work.

just thought i would mention it, even know i don't think you mentioned having a fuse blow, but your turn signals did'nt work.

mine actually started doing it after it rained really hard, and could of been a water/electrical thing, but ill never know since they just gave me a "coverup type fix"

Well both those problems are now fixed. I didn't fix them as my car is not at my house. With my work schedule its very hard to do it during the week. The shop is locked up during the morning hours and I don't want to be out there myself late at night. My friend who lives there did a little work to my fuse block and now it all works. Thanks for any suggestions.

what would it be if the hazards do not work and if the dash indicators dont work??? I'm having a turn signal problem as well that is really frustrating. I have check all my fuses which are fine and replaced all the bulbs as well.

thanks,
juan

Make sure your hazards arent on. My hazards never worked and the switch was tripping and randomly not allowing my turn signals to work.
