Default Totalled?

EDIT: UPDATE ON PAGE 2

So I rear ended a chick who was on her phone and she hit her brakes because she's an idiot. I try to swerve out the way but i was next to a wall (under a bridge). My brakes lock up, pull e-brake and bam, into her tow hitch at 15mph. Of course there is nothing wrong with her POS *** SUV. Timing belt snapped, hopefully no bent valves. The drivers side front frame is fcuked, I have a another crx and was wondering if it would be easy to swap the front of the frame.

Pics.

Dumbass Pics, I'm in the black T-shirt

i miss my baby

Yup, and while that is off you can get the frame back to right. I have seen a lot worse fixed. Save it.

yeah i went out today to work on it after getting home from school, remove the entire front end assembly, tried to tweak the frame back to original position. It doesn't look to bad but the driver side headlight carrier looks like its gonna be a bitch.
thanks for the input fellas.

I think it's called a front bulkhead. Someone on here has a thread where he replaced the whole thing, straight from honda. pretty cool.

It actually isn't that hard. We replaced one on a race car.

in the thread i saw about bulkhead replacement they drilled out all the spot welds on teh factory piece and it came right off, then they bolted the brand new honda one on and said it was pretty secure with just bolts and didnt even have to weld it

btw. Congrats on the new cool custom valve cover without timing gear shield

Maybe I'm just retarded... but SHE's a dumb bitch for braking.

Then what does that make you for running in the back of her?

No she shouldn't use her phone. No she shouldn't brake. But what if she actually needed to brake for something. I dunno... dumb kid running into the road? Deer?

Keep your distance next time.

On topic.
Looks like a replacement bulkhead will fix all your problems -IF- the frame isn't bent.

Those are 150 bucks over here. Majestic honda might have them too.

First of all, she is a dumb bitch. She even said it was her fault and said she'd help me pay for it because the same thing happened to her son's civic, i told her i was a college student and she's like hey, ill give you money (EF8 front end plz). But thats cool, WIZCO thanks for that quote from hap.
back to topic.
yeah so i pulled off the bulkhead today, drilled out the rivets and I'm gonna just bolt it on like bob and toad posted above.
good news, frame is not bent, pulled out the old trusty ruler and checked out the dimensions just incase and made sure everything was square.

NO CAM GEAR COVER FTW!!

again thanks for the input, helps a lot.

It's 224.74 for the front bulk head, and I'm glad you pointed this out because that friend of mine will definately need some frame parts.

While your doing all this work on the front end , for the love of all that is holy , please swap out your valve cover. That "orange peel" gold spray job screams rice.

Sorry about the car though , a little time and some cash and you'll have her right again.
