Timing Belt & Water Pump Issues
help me i had someone work on the car and the job was to change the water pump ,timing belt etc. but they could not break the harmonic balancer bolt loose so that didnt happen ,the water pump all the sudden quit leraking ...crazy huh? but now the timing belt is loose it misses lopes and dies at an idle..what did they do to my baby and how do i remove the bolt and most important how do i fix the new problems?

I had to buy a compressor and impact wrench to get my bolt off. I also followed this tutorial when I changed my snapped timing belt and added a new water pump.

They may have loosened the tensioner and never retightened it hence your belt being loose. For your harmonic balancer/pulley use a 1/2" ratchet with a socket and a big hammer and knock it loose. Or maybe even an electric impact gun with a socket. I've used both methods before when one or the other would not work.
