Re: theft proof crx???
I have alot of different tricks. I will never tell them all but I like to take the ecu out, fuel cut off, different kill switches (battery, starter, etc), alarms, and one of my favorites the cell phone with tracking devise. So basically they will not be able to take it unless they have a tow truck or push it down the street with the alarm buzzing in there ear.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: theft proof crx???
The best way to make a CRX theft proof is to sell it. This will guarantee nobody can steal your CRX because you won't have one to steal. Take pictures before you sell it though, this way you still have something to jerk off to every night.

park it in the garage with a DA behind it. I could care less if someone stole the da and by the time i hear someone in the garage it will be to late for them.

block it in w other cars, have a HELLA good alarm (multiple tilt sensors, shock sensors, several hood/hatch pins, and more than one door pin, and glass brake sensors, and a back up battery or two for the alarm. i supposed a full wire tuck helps w the "cutting the battery wire" problem (cuz the battery is in the trunk in a box w crap on top of it). deff. some sort kill switches (i like the magnetic switch option for the starter wire my self, more discreet). idk just be creative. the less flashy your car is the less it will be noticed.

kill switches, lo jack, it also helps not to tint your windows.. cause then you wont have that look in curiosity, different wheel lock on each nut, shaved door handles, attack snake inside the car (like on gone an sixty seconds with the hummer). hood locks
nd that will do it.

It uses a reed switch or an inductive/hall-efftect switch. You hold a magnet or piece of iron near it to activate. You can have the switch inside the dash or behind something, so it is totally invisible.
I think the easiest anti-theft is to keep it stock, never wash it, let it rust, and move somewhere that has fewer thefts.

Re: theft proof crx???
i would suggest a ravelco security system, a viper alarm with backup batteries, tilt sensor, and locking hood pins so they cant pop the hood an disable the alarm without making alot of noise.. turn the steering wheel all the way to one side, and put a pad lock on the bottom of the steering column by the pedals, and a clutch pedal club..

you should put on as many theft deterrent devices that it takes to get a good nights sleep. make sure you have full coverage, and receipts for everything. there's no sense wondering what the insurance company is going to pay after the car is gone. know beforehand.
someone tried to steal my hatch once before I had the right insurance coverage. that was a real wake-up call.

well most all options have been covered. I say if your going to put sooo much money into this car you should have a spot in the garage available. Theres nothing like having you car secure in your house!! anyone trys to **** with it kill that beioch! and if no garage is available park it in front of your house and get a good reliable stealth alarm with all the extras that is loud as hell and be alert!

Re: theft proof crx???
I beg to differ. My house, both next door neighbors, and three houses across the street have a camera pointing towards EACH car. Yes, they can take it, but with the amount of time i stay up late, and my neighbor across from me stays away, your bound to get caught even before they try to. But so far I have never had to worry about it, and the nights that i am not home, i really dont worry about it cause normally i am up all night anyways driving the sucker
