Default starting problem???

so my 91 civic is dpfi, 5spd, when i drive it and then stop and shut it off after its warmed up, and i got back top the car to start it it does not want to start after driving then shutting off what could or isd the problem

Indeed.
See if you can get a spare main relay to test.

were is the main relay located not really into the wiring/electric part

Inside the car. Bottom left of drivers side. Next to the hood release. Rectangular shape, brown in color if stock.

is it directly by the hood lacth release? there is a black box about 1 in by a 1 1/2 inch

that'd be it.

only the part with the plug is brown, the casing is black (i have one sitting here on my desk to be perfectly honest....)

Find a good used one or buy a new one. After that, try to duplicate your problem, if it goes away BINGO!!

wow, really?????

you can repair or replace it, but by the sounds of things you'd need someone holding your hand if you were going to repair it, so you'd better just shell out for a new part.

searching is your friend dude, you should give it a shot sometime.

if you actually went and got your hands dirty a bit you'd be amazed what you learn.

ya totally im scared to get them dirty, thats why i ripped the head off and replaced a broken valve and head gasket huh, as stated above not good with wiring and electronics in cars, so more usefull help please

how many more of the exact same reply do you need, you know the problem, and how to go about fixing it.......

if that doesnt fix it, the starter solenoid or a ground are the next most likely culprits.

lol i just re read what i wrote and i sounded like a noob, i mean when i take it off can i fix it or should i juts replace it lol sorry for the confusin
