Good news fellas! Job was a bust so I quit after just 2 months. Back to Missouri so the car will be getting wrenched on again! I'll keep updates as I get them.

Hahaha, well I WAS active military. But I got out and did about 9 months of school and then got offered a "contractor" position. Basically I just went over and did the same thing (Blackhawk helicopter mechanic) just for ALOT more money. So I worked on military aircraft but through a civilian company.

Re: Start of a Project....
Should be buying my house in the next few months with any luck then this build will pick back up at a good pace again. Hard to find space to lay everything out how I need it. Plus I want to make another and different style turbo manifold. I think i'm going to try a topmount this time.

Re: Start of a Project....
Have you ever actually posted anything on this forum that someone might accidenally take as a compliment? You don't know what is best for everyone. As for this situation you don't know everything making me consider the decision. I currently have my DD truck and 3 project vehicles. I also work 54+ hours weekly at a local dealership. Right now this one project is hurting for attention and at the pace it is now it wont get done for another 2-3 years. Not everyone is you. Im sure some people think some decisions you would make are dumb. Im not trying to get into something here, but im just sick of seeing everytime you post on my or others thread you bring nothing but negativity. That's one of the large problems with the Honda scene. Aside from all the "kids" its the older guys with actual knowledge who simply act privileged and as if everyone but them is stupid. If you want to show what you really know or truely contribute to a community please think about how you phrase your responses to people. It doesn't take coming off like a ***** to get your point across.

Re: Start of a Project....
I was at work on my last post and couldn't give you a more insightful comment. It's my opinion that an S2000 is a much more versatile platform to build on. Something that will probably be more economical. You can certainly track a Civic hatch, but won't shine or be as fun as an S2000. Now, considering I've never owned an S2000, but simply just driven friends' S2000 around I may not be the best person to take advice from, but I know your frustration. The costs build up quickly and not a lot to show for. I think if you do part ways this is actually a perfect time to do so. You'll probably get most of the value of your parts back and it won't be too difficult to pull the parts from the car the way it's sitting.

I'm sick and tired of people coming on here starting a build thread and then parting the car before its done.. Its ridiculous.. Next you'll start an s2000 build thread and then end that one as well. I'm not gonna waste my time ranting and raving about your decisions. Its a public forum but what it does it clutter the forum with useless bullshit.
