Soldering Fuel Pump Relay
Alright, I did a B16 swap and it ran for 5 minutes before if shut off. I have full power, but I dont hear the fuel pump relay click or fuel pump prime. I have been reading about the relays going out a lot. I picked one up at the junkyard and still no clicking. So I read you can solder the contacts but I dont know which ones or where? Ive been trying to find pics but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

you might have other problems but have you tried taking it apart? ive never had to do it but i would imagine if you had it apart just look real closely at all the solders you should see a cracked one and then fix it.

Well, I did take it apart and i dint see any cracks on the soldering so maybe I do have another problem on my hands but I will resolder them to see if it helps at all. Any other suggestions?

you have to look really really close. like i said ive never done it on a main relay but on a miata i had the blinker relay had a broken solder the first time i took it apart i didnt see any cracks i had to sit there with a good light and stare at it for a while. are you sure your not getting fuel? did you try cracking a line loose to see if fuel comes out?
