Serial # on block, any serial # on car?
I'm curious, for the serial number under the engine code on the block, is it suppossed to be able to match up to a serial number on the chassis? If so, where the hell is it?

No, there's a serial number on every block, right under the code (D16A6, D16Z6, B16A2 etc.) Now is there a way to match that up to the chassis to tell if it's the original engine or not?

yea the #'s under the block designation is to tell if that motor belongs to that car, thats how cops find out if we have a hot motor in our cars i think jdm motors dont bring that im not sure.
