Default Seat Belts

Do you have to replace the whole seat to fix the buckle. My passenger side buckle latch won't actually click down on the buckle. If anyones had this same problem and can help please do.

by law, all safety equipment has to be fixed whenever it fails, so honda has to replace it for you.

if you have a salvage title (as many EF's do) and the service writer is a dick they can deny your warranty claim. Just be cool and willing to wait for an appointment, work with them. They might be totally cool, but just a warning in case.

Yes they have to do it... Free of charge. But um, if you dont mind spending an 5 minutes at the junkyard and 5 minutes in your car you can just replace the part that the belt plugs into. Its real easy and quick. same thing happened on my first rex. but honda will do it, if you dont want to spend the time and the 5 bucks your self

Well see I thought of just buying a new part or finding an old one but I couldn't find the screws/bolts to take it off so to me it just looked like the sucker was a part of the seat.

dude i wouldn't spend a penny. i've personally visited the dealership twice with seatbelt problems. they didn't ask one single question, just fixed it and off i went.

don't put yourself through the hassle
