With a 89 CRX Si can't I just pull off the rear hubs with drum brakes and replace them with 91 CRX Si hubs with disk brakes? Wouldn't this be easier than swapping the whole arm?

I did search and came up with a ton of integra swaps but nothing much for a crx to crx swap.

integra DA rear disk work? Hmm I know they make rear disk hubs. Dont know for sure but I think the EF hubs are missin something for that particular swap. hence the reason for swapin out the whole arm...correct me if Im wrong

I'm asking if it's possible to swap rear disks from one CRX Si to another CRX Si that had stock drums by only swapping hubs and braking assembly's, prob valve, and lines.

My drum setup has new rear bushings on the arms and don't want to mess with them if i don't have to.

Simply put...NO!!!!
The reason is if you swap hubs you will have nothing for the caliper to bolt to. You need to swap over the entire rear trailing arm, ebrake cables, brake lines, and prefer the proportioning valve

I found the info. I was the one asking the same question back in October. It's old people like me who forget and then fill these forums up asking the same questions over and over.

i duno about that, take a look at a bare drum trailing arm and a bare disc trailing arm.
from what i can see, it is possible. then again i didnt beat my brain to figure it out. im sure tyson the boss will chime in to **** on what i have to say..

all i gotta say is give it a shot, what do you gotta lose, if it desnt work at least you have a lot of new parts for the actual disc trailing arm, but im about 80% sure they are the same.

anyone realize the drum ebrake cable will not work with the disc brake caliper? and no the caliper will have nothing to bolt to on a drum setup. swap entire trailing arms. done

Its is possible with a special adapter plate. Not as cost effective as buying a whole rear arm though.

a complete setup is usually not that expensive. By the time you make a special adapter you can just swap over the whole setup.
A list of all cars that will work:
1990-1991 crx Si
1990-2001 integra
1992-2000 civic (si's and some ex's had rear disks)
All of them share the same trailing arm, rotor, caliper, ect.
You will need the brake lines for a 90-91 crx si (possible others work fine but I have not compared)
ebrake cables for 90-93 integra (for hb/crx) note that the 90-91 crx si cables might be too short for a hatchback do to the shorter wheelbase
