Rear disc conversion on a 1990 civic SI hatch what car can I take the setup from?
So I have been searching threads and I'm having trouble finding out what cars I can take the rear disc setup from. I know a 90-91 crx SI will fit and also a 90-91 integra setup will fit but why about something off a EG civic or a newer integra? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would not get it from a CRX since the E brake cables are shorter and won't reach.
Integra or another civic would be my choice.

I bought the whole rear set up off a 1990 Acura Integra, e-brake cables, master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve included too. Installing this Friday hopefully it goes without too much headache. Should I use my stock trailing arms? Any suggestions appreciated

Re: Rear disc conversion on a 1990 civic SI hatch what car can I take the setup from?
I got mine from a 92 RS integra 2dr
e brake cables to fit an EF hatch must be from the 2dr (as opposed to the 4dr DA)
rear trailing arm including brakes and brake hoses from a 2dr or 4dr DA
use your stock EF toe arm
use your stock EF LCA
use your stock EF UCA
use 40/40 brake proportioning valve from 2dr or 4dr DA LS or RS (GSR comes with abs)
I recommend (not required) the replacement of the rear trailing arm bushings (how to vid on YOUTUBE)
If you have the time and/or money, the DA master cylinder and booster will increase brake performance, but are not necessary for the rear disc conversion to function properly
thats pretty much it, any more questions feel free to PM me

I just did a rear disc on my SI with a DA trailing arm and spindle. It all bolts right up, except the DA trailing arm makes the wheel poke an extra. 25 of an inch I believe.

Are you having clearance issues? I think my right rear rubs on really really hard turns. I'm riding at stock height with 195/50R15 tires, tons of wheel gap between tire and body. Is rubbing even feasible? Suspension is in good shape still, OEM
