Default Really lame question

I keep trying to figure out how to effectively navigate the classifieds to simply bring up struts for an ef. When I search it just brings up a mess of a million other things and doesn't really seem to help. I want to know if a- there is a sub category for our cars, or the suspension or b- if anyone just has a decent set of struts for sale to make this whole thing easier ha ha! Otherwise I guess I'm using ebay, would just prefer to buy from people who I know know what they are talking about and selling.

Again, dumb question, probably miscategorized but we'll see if anything comes up.

Thanks!

Agreed, craigslist is as close to impossible to navigate as you can possibly get. Next is ebay, and thus far the runner up for third is honda tech market ha ha ha! The forum side is a life saver so credit where it's due, just saying, the market categories could benefit from excluding the general forum side in the search results for items being sold, and perhaps some generation specific parts threads. Anyways, I need struts. I'll find a good deal somewhere.

HT is still awesome.

Be careful with ebay suspension parts, I bought upper control arm-new, it was 1/4 inch short, I had to install camber kit to use it.

Yeah, I am not about to get "ebay" parts. i meant getting something name brand through ebay. Looking at Skunk2 sports or Tokico blues I think.

i wouldn't buy tokico blues new since they are overpriced...navigate through craigslist and you might get lucky with a used set in good condition...i came across two sets recently but didn't get them since i already have a set...!!!

Blue's are an OK strut IMO. I HATE HATE HATE Skunk2 suspension parts. Every car I've rode in that has SK2 suspension parts was just bouncy and rode like ****. If you want good struts, Koni makes good struts. I've seen GC/Koni combo's on CL for like 500 used or so. Just keep lookin

Yeah, Koni would nice, I've actually waited about three months so far looking on Craigslist. I just moved to Nashville, and there is nothing here for Honda hobbyists. Now I'm just looking for the best bang for my buck which is about $300 tops right now.

Ha ha. Well if you are recommending them that would make my choice easy, it's so hard getting reputable info as to which affordable ones are decent and which ones are garbage. So Koni str-t, I will look them up. I'm new to the world of choosing aftermarket suspension, so I appreciate pointing me towards something decent.

Another quick question, should I be looking to replace my springs as well? It came with Dropzone brand adjustable coilovers on stock struts. I can't find much on the brand, so I'm assuming they are some ebay brand.

Ill google those now and check them out. What would you're thoughts on this package be? I've heard good feedback on Tokico from a few people.

http://www.jazzproparts.com/product_p/hpk215.htm

Seems like a decent price, if they are garbage or if they are going to last a year and give out, I'll pass.

Oh, and while I'm changing them all out, is there anything else I should be replacing at the same time? Any little things etc that I might as well replace?

Shoot, looks like you got a killer deal on the sprint springs! They are up to over $200 now. I'll look for a better deal on them otherwise I'll have to come up with something else. I'm between the koni str-t, and that tokico package mostly because of the price with springs. Anything is better than the blown ones on there now. If I get the Koni's I'll want springs so it's not bouncy after the work to install them. Thanks again for the solid pointers. Probably order one or the other tonight hopefully.
