Default Radiator question

Ok, i am in the middle of getting everything ready for an engine swap, a DOHC ZC into my CRX. I have bought 2 radiators so far; an EG (the 1/2 size) and one i bought from http://www.radiator.com and they sent me a diffrent one from my stock one.

It has two brass...tubes that come out of the bottom and i can't use them. So this brings us to the question....

Can i just cut off the things and stuff them with JB Weld and call it a day or what? Oh yeah i'd buy another one but the engine is getting here on tuesday

So the second one is basically like stock with the exception of the additional 2 fittings? It's probably a provision for a tranny cooler for an automatic transmission car. In that case you can just cap/plug them off or loop them together.

Ok in that case...does your hit the front cross member? It looks like mine is going to and if i hit a bump or something they will bend off. And i don't want that to happen

Maybe i'm just being paranoid

Just unscrew those two fittings off the new Rad, problem solved.

If their not screwed on then just use a hack saw and cut it off.

It's easy as 1-2-3.
