Questions about OEM Rear trailling arm bushings
I'm getting ready to order some new rear trailling arm bushings for my 90 CRX Si here locally in SLC, UT. I've already called 3 different dealerships with the given Part #'s:
52385-S21-003
52385-SR3-000
Each dealership explained that the SR3 is the replacement bushing and no longer stock the S21 bushing but the service bulletin clearly states that the S21 bushing is the replacment for the SR3.
Did something change since the service bulletin came out?
http://www.performanceforum.co...t.pdf
Either way does anyone know if I have to special order the SR3 or should I stick with the S21 bushing?
Thanks

According to the service bulletin that I posted here:

It shows that the S21 is a replacement for the failed SR3 part...That's why I'm asking. I'm not about to buy a part that's going to give me the same problem.

It does matter, because the SR3 is a lot more expensive.
The S21 supercedes the SR3. Do not buy SR3s and do not let them talk you into buying them. A lot of dealerships stock them for unknown reasons; probably to make more money or something. We stock the S21s at our shop because they're cheaper for the customer but are the same part.
Any dealer can order the S21s for you. Insist that they order them.

For reference - as of this post, Honda's list price on 52385-SR3-000 is $55.89 each.
52385-S21-003 is $35.72 each.
That's a savings of $40.34 for the pair.
