Pully Hitting the Driver Traction Bar?
When i had my first ed Sedan wih an LS swap, every once and a while my crank pully would hit the lower bar. I was told that you should run a traction bar to get rid of that. So thats why i building my traction bar, but i was wondering how many other have had/are having the same problem?
Or was my car just a fluke?

How low is your car? Mine dosen't hit that I know of. I have sk2 sport springs/shocks, Hasport mounts, stock pulley. Weekend car so I take it easy.

i have that problem too for awhile now. BWR pro suspension custom 33mm shorter then the average wit a simple ls swap... Ive herd an after market traction bar will hit moore an the ctr crank puly would have to b balanced with the crank and flywheel...

ctr pulleys do not need to be balanced to anything. there are people however that say it will cause your oil pump to fail. i personally feel the info is not quite accurate.. anyway, i've ran the ctr for quite sometime and my engine has yet to tear itself apart.

Mount the bars from underneath the control arm. I have full race traction bars and mine hit at first. But then I ground the control arms down on the bottom and mounted them there.
Check out 88ed8's build in the hybrid section. He gave me the idea

Re: Pully Hitting the Driver Traction Bar?
All of these are amazing ideas!
I am Running innovative mounts with stock pulley.
I thought about going the CTR pully, But the motor just got back from the machine shop... If it was still stock GSR then i would, because they are perfectly balanced from the facory, but now that everything was replaced on the inside, i dont trust them quite as much as OEM Honda Japs.
The Traction bar link I am building is going to kick the front of the link bars out a little bit more. So i will have complete clearance all the way around.
