Okay so my hatch has been acting up sometimes when i go to start it it starts and sometimes it just dosent start i wait a while then it starts im getting fuel idk if its getting spark i pulled the end or the plug wire close to dizzy to see if it had spark idl if thats a good method but i saw no spark the car shut off on me i have no idea what is is its crancking but start im stranded and need help asap

Pull the wire and put the end near one of the valve cover nuts.
If you see an electrical arc you have spark.
If not, you're distributor or ignitor(inside distributor) is bad.

I never replace the ignitor, better to just get the whole dizzy

Okay thanks by pulling the end you mean from the dizzy right and have someone cranck it i dont want to spend money on a whole new dizzy and it dosent start i find it weirs how before it did this and out of no where it started

Main Relay?
If you aren't getting gas or spark this $50 relay is the place to start. It will have a intermittent quality that you described as well.

I had the same problem, fuel but no spark, ended up being the ignitor. Managed to grab one (and a coil) out of an Integra distributor at the PicknPull, saved me the price of a whole new one.

Main relay before you buy anything, take it out and re-solder it. My Accord just left me on the side of the road because of it, ef civic had the same symptoms as yours random starting issues, some days its fine. Honda no start first thing to check always.

But im getting fuel and that i know they replaced the main relay bc this car was auto before and they swapped it

Okay i think i found the main relay mine is gray big and has 8 pin connectors inoticed that when turn the key i feel it clicking also notice that 2 wires that connect to the relay arw cut one is blue with a white stripe the other is black

Okay in looking at the ecu i see a red light bulb on it but its not lid up also in back of the bezel i have no cel bulb since the owners before me removed it if my car isnt starting should i have a cel ? Or is my ecu bad ??

Okay for some reason it started i was looking at the ecu then i tried to start it and it started idk why

No, pull it off the spark plug and hold the end near a metal object and look for an arc.
Or pull the sparkplug wire off the dizzy and and place a screwdriver near the contact to look for spark. Careful not to get shocked.

If you get no arc, your dizzy is bad

That would be those random start issues, Distributors simply die, not good one day bad the rest. You removed the main relay and it started cause normally you "bother" it works or you have a short in the wiring somewhere, hairline cracks are hard to see, plus once hot due to voltage it may affect contacts. Solder it either way cheap parts out there from every retail chain.

Distributors don't simply die. They also give out over a slow period of time.
The only thing that can be said will just die is a fuel pump. But even that will be slow most of the time.

Don't give out false information.

Im stranded right now as we speak it did it again i have no idea why i got a cel code 43 for obd0 ecu has to do with fuel

Not false information, runs fine then suddenly no starts doesnt sound like a distributor. If you have been driving normal all day and now stranded. Electronics fail, mechanical things wear out slowly.

Im getting fuel spark not sure i had to get it towed home so i will be checking that tommrow its weird it did this yesterday runs perfect when it wants then out of nowhere just dies on me while driving it keeps doing this idk why

Have ou ever had a bad distributor?

Your fuel filter might be clogged or pump may be dying.
Maybe a relay, dying pump, ignitor, leaking unjectors or distributor.

Okay this is what it was doing last night i was driving cel comes on car wants to die but dosent then the ecu kept flashing wich is code 43 fuel system suppy when i turn the key to on the cel comes on but stays on and the car doaent start i notice when the cel comes on while the key is in on position i wait a sec for the cel to go off then it starts right up

I can hear thw fuel pump but not as loud as my other cars this is a very light buzz on my other civics it was really loud

Do you guys think its a fuel pressure issue maybe it gets enough pressure sometimes and sometimes dosent ? I noticed that on the fuel rail i think their is two fuel pressure regulators one has a screw on top of it idk why ? But can that be why it wont start

Okay so i unplugged the main relay for some seconds then i plugged it back it and it started right up ?? Can this be a main relay issue even though the fuel pump is priming also i cant find any grounds around the thermostat
