i'm on 15's and with nuespeed race springs, my wheel gap is only 'bout 1"-1 1/2" but i don't know what kind of gap you get with other springs though......

.......i just checked and it is about 2", but that still doesn't look like a whole hell of a lot.... i had a friend w/ 17's....he didn't have much wheel gap, prolly like you, but his crx DID sit about 1 1/2" higher off the ground, kinda looked like it was raised up instead of lowered.....but that is my oppinion........but the whole car(even w/ the rims ) is sweet.......

i dont understand the whole muffler at an angle thing. if you want a mufler like that, it looks better running it straight back off the axle. or use a muffler (oem stylez) and use stock hanger locations.

Well as you can see their is a large cut out on factory rear honda crx bumpers to the left. if that wasnt their I would have just went straight back like a normal civic, plus its kinda cool you can see the large pipe and it really shows when someone is behind you. The greddy SP exhaust is so overplayed, everyone has it on their crx/civics, it's small piping and highly restrictive muffler is crap, especially for 500 bucks. This system feels like driving with the entire exhaust off, their is hardly any backpressure at all, spools very fast.

Ugh, man I cant stand that wheel gap, but thats your opinion. I use to roll 16's just like that.

I dont drive my car hard? I bet I drive my car harder then anyone on this board, once summer is around I take it to the track all the time, I race every weekend at street races, I go on tons of road trips. I get an avg of 15mpg just because I cant keep my foot out of it, tires I smoke those 18's like they are nothing. Do I rub on a hard corner? No Not at all, Do I have a high center gravity? well probably with the 18's but it still can handle very well, when I do Solo events I always put the 14's on, I know better. This rims are what I roll on, cruzing rims.

Is it fast? well depends on your theroy of fast, I think a pretty fast street car is a 11sec car, and that is what my goal is.. This motor setup (mini-me) is ok, its just like the turbo ZC. I could probably get low to mid 13's on my slicks without a doubt.

I just really didnt expect all this hate for the 18's... I think they look pretty good.

Great job on the turbo kit, and the muffler. Im not personally fond of the style of rims but each to his own, They'd look less out of place on a car with lots of body work, mabye youll get less criticizism about them then. That muffler looks like it runns REALLY low what is its clearance? have you ran low 13's on the track or is that a estimate?

its not hard to make another cut out in the bumber. where did a greddy sp come into play? i just think that the muffler coming out at an angle looks really ghetto. imo

my car sits on a dyno all day in 5th gear at 8k, big ol gravity gas tank feeds fuel in my cars tank. 50,000 gallons of gas in that bia. I'll run it like this for about 4 years straight. therfore MY car is the hardest driven on this board.... and the world!

oh an i tow my boat around on my hatch where ever i go and its up hill all the way. defintaly driven harder

you gotta give him props on the fact that he's turboed and not just some slow *** with 18's.
Hey Abaz, where can I go to get custom piping done on a turbo? I really want to go turbo but
I don't like the idea of spending $3000+ for a setup.

hah, I didnt like the idea of spending that much money either! So I hit the junkyards and came up with a pretty cheap setup that can pack more punch then a small greddy kit. Custom pipes? what do you mean? as far as a downpipe or charge lines? for a downpipe the best place to go will be a exhaust shop, for charge pipes you can be creative as you want, I used factory DSM/Conquest charge lines another other hardware store stuff.

Mwa if I were you I would never say "harder then anyone on this board" .
Welcome to Holland!! Have fun with your 18's and extremely lowered car!
I want to maintain streetable and don't want to be crawling over every speedbump and other crazy speed-reducing crapp.......and I'm not even mentioning all the damn potholes..

You might be wondering howmuch of these we have.........ZILLIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where can we drive hard? On the highway and scarce pieces of road in the perefic ..I'm seriously thinking of buying a second car: preferably an off-roader..

I just really didnt expect all this hate for the 18's... I think they look pretty good.
You car is cool, but those rims are way too big.....actually 21's would be great for raising ground clearance but how do I turn?

18x7.5, at least someone likes big rims! I am dropped 2.5 front and rear with a H&R race kit, I also have a Front and rear camber kit by Ingalls. If you ever get the c5's on take some pics I would love to see them! They are sweet!

I really like the clean look of your car.
Props on the turbo set-up. I was going through your site and saw that there was a lot of trial and error. Do you think that the set-up you have now is a winner? As for the rims, if 18's could enhance the performance of my car then I would be all for it, but I am all about performance with a clean car. JMO

nice ride i like the exhaust good job but i think you need the turbo to regain the power you lost with 18's damn, i've had 3 sets of 18's one on a 2k si and 2 on a 94 integra, i will never buy a set again...too slow! and no traction damn wheel hop

AbaZ, the car is cool!

I like the wheels as well, bigger than I would want, but the car is clean and doesn't look ricey with them!

What kind of horsepower does this set-up put down?( sorry if it i n the thead,i may have missed it when I tired of everyone bashing your wheels an exhaust...lol )

I hope you hit your 11's, itlooks like you have put a lt of work into your car!
