Hmmm not bad id ditch the chrome rims & fart tip.

Instead of hacking up your console you should look for a Lower Console
(not mine)

well, if i was you i would do as you like, good thing im not you because i happen to like my chrome rims. and my tip is not resonated so it doesnt sound like a fart. i am looking for a lower section like you have, i think it looks clean. but i wasnt gonna wait until i found one to install my kenwood decks, i think i did a damn good job, thank you. now that you've bashed the hell out of my car, lets see some pics of yours.

no need to bash, we all know who's car is better. your car is pretty clean, its nice to see 4th gen civics in good shape. most of the ones i see out here are all beat up. if your car was mine, id just throw some 17's on it and take off the mud flaps. other than that, its nice.

its all good. opinions are like a**holes, we all have one. i can understand you not liking the rims, theres a few people out there that dont like chrome rims. but you dont like the tip? its not like i have a 5" tip on there, its just a 3" tip that looks a hell of alot better than the stock "pea shooter" that it came with. when i install my zc and get my exhaust system installed, if i stay with the round tip, ill keep the same size i have now, i think its big enough that it looks custom but small enough to not be obnoxious. but im thinking about flipping the script and getting a tip that i havent seen anyone with, at least not any hondas. everyone has the round tips, the dual tips, the dual angled tips, even some dual rounded square tips, but i want to be different. i like to be a leader not a follower. i would tell you what i plan to do but i want to be the first with it so you'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah dude..my name is Shawn - and thanks for the compliments on the car. It needs paint (the hood is very chipped from rocks) but the rest is in OK shape. My near-future project is removing the silly "accent stripe". I have had this car for 6 years and 110K miles, but I am just now getting into really taking care of it and making it personalized.

Well.. as for mods, I have the CAI on it now. My plan (not sure which order either) is ZC, Thermal R&D exhaust, 4-2-1 headers, rims. My DX tranny is acting up too, 2nd to 3rd is grinding real bad, and I have a bent axle, so I might go to an Si tranny, or rebuild this one during the swap...I dunno..it all depends on how it unfolds, meaning how much money I have at the time. I think that a ZC with I/H/E on this car will be enough..then I'll maybe buy a project car like a CRX, or a hatch or something and b1x it (6 or 8?? I dunno )

As for rims, I am looking for GSR rims (the 8-spokes are my prefrence, but the 5-spokes are ok too), but I can get a ZC motor for the cost of those rims. I also like 99-00 Si rims too...saw those on a sedan at the yahoo 4th gen 4-door site...the car needed a little work, but the rims still looked good on it. For now, the $20 set Civic knockoff wheel covers from Target will have to do

Yeah...I can't get into (whispering) purehonda.com (done whispering) or Eric's (CWBETB's) sight either. So i have been hanging out here and at honda-acura.net, but I like this one better...not as much child's play here at HT.

Hey Saucy...I just noticed this guy (90CivicEX) has a ZC motor in his 4-door - must be a 4-door since it is an EX, but anyway, he has a ZC computer for a Auto!!! Ask him if he wants to sell it!! --> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=49815 Wish I could help him get his car running better though..

Cool dude...later!

Finally got on Eric's website again. eric, when are you guys gonna update the site? most everything thats on there now has been there since the first time i went there about a year ago. yeah shawn, i feel you about the chipped hood, i had my car painted about a year ago and man it was in bad shape, the clear coat was peeling, it was faded, it was a mess. i have to take it back to the shop though, probably once the engine is done, and have them fix a few spots. i found some drips and the clear coat chipped off at the top of the driver side door and a few other things they need to fix. im gonna have them replace the chrome trim around the windows too, back in the day a dude i had funk with threw a 40oz. bottle at my car and hit the chrome trim at the base of the driver side passenger door. boy did he catch a beat down, didnt have any funk after that. so how do you like your CAI? I have began to notice a significant power drop when its hot outside or when my engine gets hot, my short ram just takes in all that hot air. does your CAI sound good? I hope you get your probs on your car taken care of, the axle isnt really a biggie, its only like 80-90 bucks with a lifetime warranty from Kragens. And your Civic knockoff hub caps had me fooled, i thought they were authentic. I hope that "other" site comes back up soon, I liked it there. thanks for looking out for the auto zc ecu, but i think im gonna go with a teg ecu, it has more agressive fuel mapping and everyone agrees that it is the best ecu to get for the zc, short of buying a zdyne or something like that. Well man, keep me posted on your trials and tribulations with your car, i hope you get all that stuff fixed soon before you break down or something. Later man.

and theres a egg stain that i cant get off too..
plus my neighbor was lighting off illegal fireworks the other day and a bunch of them landed on my car.
