Default People that have done complete harness swaps in CRX's

OK I am going to be putting in a complete Si harness into my DX and well I know how to take everything apart (have done it with 2 parts cars) But the one thing that I am stuck on is under the carpet there is that black sound deadening stuff that is held down by those like white round plastic pieces that are screwed onto a stud sticking out from the body. Now my question is how do I take off those plastic pieces without screwing them up or the sound deadening stuff up??

from what i remember, it looked like there were two plastic "tabs" that kind of stuck out some. maybe pull the back and then pull the plastic screw out?

i can take a look at the plastic screws tonight when i go by my garage. maybe there is a way to unscrew them...

well they can be unscrewed but the problem with that is either you break off those plastic tabs your talking about or it rips the sound deadening so it basically rounds out the hole so those tabs wont do anything nor will it hold down the sound deadening material. Hey if you can find out a good way to do it I would appreciate it!!

well i took a closer look at mine and if you wiggle them with a pair of pliers a little bit, you might get enough room to pull the sound deadening away from the plug...

oh and check your IMs.
