I agree, who cares! I honestly think the jdm fogs are TIGHT!

the car is 17years old, and they were manufactured in japan with these fogs!

Anyways, car looks good man, keep it up

you dont really need to run high octance for a daily driver, id just run some premium shell or sunoco, if you want try some additives, id personally recommend lucas (red bottle) octane additive. i sware by lucas products

I know you didn't just try and **** on oem foglights.

You can see by his optional wheels, that its a 90-91 CRX, with the foglights, and probably has the equalizer in it too. Those dx models always came with the good ****.

You will have to have a GOOD tune done on that setup, and yes, run high octane gas, prefferably 93 or higher....That compression with that setup is through the roof....You dont want that for a daily.

If I were you, I would just run A6 pistons, or a thick head gasket with some arp head bolts.

Dude, do you understand the demands of a high compression motor?
It sure looks like you don't, so don't give advice unless you know what it
should be.

its actually a pair of OEM USDM CRX not,prelude,aftermarket,boshc..etc...its actually white but my brother painted dem yellow just for the hell of it....Plus its cracked ..and it came with the car so i dunno how to install it..
damn....run 93? golly...then this wouldnt definetly be my DD....or maybe i should just swap swap in the D16a6 head instead of the D16z6 for a lower compression...man..i was looking forward for the VTEC! hahah

I think it was only the 90-91 dx models. I could be wrong though. I had a 90 dx automatic, and it had the optional wheels, and equalizer and it seems to be most consistent with the torino reds and the green one

Eq was just a factory option. Anyways I like the build components, it's original and will need dedication, which is the total opposite of the "turboed B16" bandwagon around here. We have the same cordless drill BTW .

Thanks you guys....im actually looking for a A6 head right now....the z6 would put out too much compression..but im having difficulty choosing which head i should go for:

D16z6 head: cam gear/Gude bullfrog cams/more compr 12.5:1

D16a6 head: cam gear/no camshafts,but less compr 11.6:1
which one should i go for now......

give me sum thumbs up for which one should i go for..

What are you thinking? Throw those domed *** pistons in the ******* trash unless you are gonna run high octane gas!!!
11.6.1 is still way too high for a daily!!

USE CUSTOM PISTONS THAT PUT YOU AT 10.1 OR UNDER OR USE THE STOCK A6 PISTONS........Or you will ping around town till you blow your motor.
There is nothing wierd or wrong about doing the mini-me conversion, just throw those high compression pistons away unless you will be getting a GOOD TUNER and running RACE GAS...

It doesn't matter what head you are using...its the pistons that make the biggest difference.

/rant. Why make so many headaches for yourself?
