Default OBD0 B16A swap into 91

Hi guys,

I hate to ask this question since I am sure its been ask a thousand times, but for some reason I did a search and came up with nothing useful.

Car -- '91 Civic hatch
Engine -- (from the stamp on the block) B16A (i think its obd0, almost 100% sure)

The engine came with engine harness, axles and tranny.

I still need:

Half Shaft (half shaft from old engine didn't fit)
Axles (the ones that came with the engine don't work, not sure what car it came from)
ECU (I am assuming from any OBD0 B16A should work)

Can someone help me get the right parts. Thanks.

ive got an obd0 b16 ecu (pr3) for sale if youd like...check my signature, the link to the for sale thread is down there. the pictures wont work until tomorrow because my hosting page (cardomain.com) is down at the time. should be back up tomorrow. i will do the written price plus FREE shipping. ill look for better deals but i dont think you'll find much better. good luck finding the parts, search the classifieds if you can...

edit: if the car is a dx, the axles wont work with the dx hubs, get si/hf hubs and those axles should work!! good luck again...

double edit: the pr3 ecu is virgin. means no st00pid chips to "enhance" performance...

Hey man,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I replaced the hub and the axle on the right side fit now. I still need a half shaft though and I don't know where to start.

Also, I am still trying to figure out the wiring.

This project is taking me longer than I had originally plan for. I won't give up though, this is my first different engine swap so I want to get it done.

Any more help would be appreciated.

Ebay for the ECU: Get a PR3 or PW0

You say you got a engine harness with the engine, want to make sure you know that you can NOT use that on your car.
#1 it won't plug in, #2 it's RHD and definately won't plug in. #3, it's not like it actually adds the new wires all the way to the ECU.

You want either a pr3 or pwo obd0 b16 ecu ebay might have them and if they have a chipped one even better they run for around $220, Far as axles I just did this swap in my friends 89 crx hf same engine sir1 b16a obd0, you can use 90-93 integra axles and halfshaft if its not an si i think you need a si hub or spindle assembly or any 90-01 integra. If you need some motor mounts I have some b16 to EF motor mounts NEW $100 shipped retail $250

Thanks guys,

I got the car to fire up a few days ago. I got the PR3 ecu and the integra axles with different hubs. I didn't have fuel though. I need to play around with the fuel lines right now but everything is coming together. Again, thanks for all your help.
