i guess i let it idle then poured more in to top it off...andf i tryed to move the metal part on that valve and it doesnt move...so does that mean its bad and i need a new 1?

they covered it already.
your heater worked before, so the control valve must work, unless you broke or disconnected it.
turn the heater on full hot, blower on, idle the car till warm, and keep topping off the coolant. the heater should start working.
These cars have very simple heating systems, and bleed very easily.

or you can just take that whole valve out and just run a single hose from block to the inside of the car...but then you wont have any control to as HOW much hot air you'll have in the car...just a suggestion...i broke that valve when i was pulling that motor out..just thought it wasnt worth putting another one ....
