My new EF!
I just got my new (to me) '90 civic dx hatch with 185k on the odo. The car is in pretty good shape. It has some minor front end body damage, but other than that no rust what so ever. Doing a tune up this weekend. Any advice on what I should check/replace aside from the basic oil change, plugs/rotor, & air/fuel filter? The hood & the metal between the headlights & bumper are dented/rusted, so I plan on replacing them first. Question, I've been browsing pics on here, and it looks like the mugen (knockoff) front bumper should replace the bumper & this metal strip. Is this correct? If so I will just get the kit & carbon hood first to address this problem. The next on the agenda is the interior. The front seats are ****! What oem honda seats bolt in, if any? Could I get away with some cheapies off ebay without too much custom work? Next I plan on the teg disc conversion because the stock brakes feel way too soft for my tastes. Future plans include a motor swap (of some sort), full suspension, and roll cage. I plan to auto-x the car as well as commute to work. I do have 2 other cars so I don't mind spending the time to do it right. I dont plan to show the car, it's strickly for fun. Any opinions on what order I should attack these projects? I've never performed a motor swap (on a honda) before, just been building hot-rods with pops and wrenching on all of my cars. I already ordered the helm manual, and have done alot of research on the web. Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to dig in!

OK....so I have an ED civic....I figured you knew what I meant.....Anyway, does anyone besides niffer_marie have any input on the questions at hand? What about the mugen bumper? Does it replace the metal trim between the headlights & bumper? I'm trying to get this taken care of as soon as possible. Thanks
