My EF Civic Timeline
It all started with a 1989 Honda Civic Si ,169,786 miles. No modifications when I bought it. I paid an old japanese man $1300 cash. It was put into my mom's name, because I wasn't aware of what would happen later. A few weeks after being the noob on honda-tech I found out about a few different things I could do to bring my car to the above stock level. I ended up putting in a drop-in filter. After watching older friends around me have nice EG's and EF's I decided, I didn't really care about how fast my car was, but I did want it to handle, and stop really well. I bought some KYB AGX 4way adjustable shocks and struts, and a set of ground control coilovers. My friend Joel Glover had a BuddyClub Spec II exhaust lying around, and I ended up giving him like $250 for it. So then I had a badass exhaust, and pretty descent suspension for a 16 year old. I drove the car for about 6 months and I found some Special Edition Wheels from a 4 door GSR for $200 with dunlop sport tread. 2 months later I ran into some problems with mom, we weren't getting along, and I had the opportunity to move in with my dad. So I did that. About 2 weeks after I moved out, my mom called and wanted my car back. I had already paid for the car MYSELF, but it was in her name. So I said ok, She didn't know I was going to take all my stuff off of the car. I gave her the car back with no exhaust, stock suspension from an eg, and steelies. Little did she know I had also found another EF. A 1991 Honda Civic Si 210987 Miles, owned by a Honda Cert. Master Tech, Who was a parts manager at a Dealership. He was well into his 40's and when I asked about the car, he said as long as I brought him a photograph of the car after I was finished with it, I could have it for free. He was the only owner of the car, and there was no rust, he had lived in NC all his life. Well my dad ended up bringing it home the same day I was removing all the stuff off of my 89. So I got the 91 and swapped all the stuff over to it. And this car was clean. To make a long story short, I ended up putting a built single cam d16a6 in the car. 11:1 comp., Supertech Valves,Springs & Retainers, stock cam, zc pistons, y8 headgasket, mild port/ portmatch job, SS ebay header, b series tb portmatched to im. It was a very pleasant car to drive, DA brake swap, ST sway bar, front and rear tower bars, battery relocated to trunk area, ss brakelines. So it had good power for single cam, and it stopped and turned very well. I ended up getting in a fender bender, and replaced the front bumper cover, and fender. Then a 1 month before my move to NC to go to school at NTI I got *** ended at a red light by a retard going like 35mph in a GMC Jimmy. So I had to find another car, I found a white EF shell. $500 bucks clean as hell. 1990 Honda Civic Si 159,099 on the tach. Completely gutted, oldschool Hasport Mounts for B series, and Shift Linkage, ST Sway bar, Tockiko Blues, and Nuespeed Springs, z speed exhaust. I bought it from a guy named Tom Turko. Who by the way has the cleanest DA integra on the face of this earth. I had three weeks to make this car run. So I stripped everything out, and I put a new wire harness, and my suspension, EVERYTHING. I had this car down to NOTHING. I did it with the help of my friend Jacob, and my brother everyday after work. Got it finished, and now here I am. I left out a bunch but that is as good as it gets.
I did end up getting the 89 Back from my mom!! So I have 2 spares!
Later Ill add some more in a bit,

To answer your question, I am in school right now, so maybe the most I can do is a few auto x's but when I get out I'll graduate the white one to track *****, and get me something new. And use the other two for parts cars. And please take into effect that all this happened in 3 years, so I mean when I first got the Buddy Club Exhaust I was like expletive, It doesn't come out the right side, and that is just how it is. But when I got the white shell it had the same size dia. ss tubing for the b-pipe, so I hacked it up and made my spec II come out the other side. I have seen people who get that exhaust, and they cut their bumper, but I havent seen anyone that cut the exhaust up.

I got the wheels I have now free, I turned around and sold the gsr wheels for $200 and at the time I just wanted something, anything different than the gsr's. The azenis do grip well, although I wish I would have gotten a taller and wider tire. I am in the market for new wheels 15'' that aren't oem. I honestly don't think the rims are ugly, but to each his own.
Sorry about the run one sentence.

Re: (p00n)
I see you have the buddy club spec II exhaust, do cops ever hassle you? I'm running without an axleback (repainting it in the meantime) and it sounds exactly like the spec II and I'm always worried about getting pulled, lol

to tell you the truth, i drive pretty conservitavly(SP) I do get on it when the cops aren't around or when ricers think their fart can is the **** But I always ride with the silencer in. Before I built my motor you could ride with the silencer out and it would actually sound good. But once I built my motor, and upped the compression a good bit, that thing with out the silencer will make your ears bleed. so i ride with the silencer in now. Sounds great! My buddy has a spec III on his EG, and before I cut my exhaust to fit where the cutout is, we switch the axle backs like every week or so.
