If you like the wing, keep it. Like I said before, it's your car. The style of the one you have was pretty common about 15 years ago, but now if it doesn't look "JDM" some people tend to take it personal. The car looks fine without a spoiler, but IMO if you wanted to go with a spoiler, I'd go with something like this.

I dunno i dun really like wings on the Honda :/ only one i really like is the EF mid wing thats it though :/ and it gotta b carbon but yea only thing i dont like is the wing other than that its nice... like the rims id lower it a little though


i plan on getten my corner lights a color and getten my head lights a bright white or somethin dunno if it will look good though :/ so debating if i wanna or not

Damn, I hope your not blinding any oncoming cars and cars infront of you man. Those hid's are terrible. Get some projectors so they aim correctly and not blinding everyone.

Alright man! first off this is HONDA TECH and ill be straight forward with you...
You are wasting your money buying this spoilers and this rims and this exhaust if you want a clean and make it to a magazine make it legit and keep it simple. have you seen any car that has a big spoiler and big *** body kits make it on magazine i mean i see a legit cars that has big spoiler and stuff but your project right now is a waste of time and money.
if i where you just use the money on your family and stay away from fast and the furious cars! sorry man just want to be straight up i feel bad for the CAR and you, because your money is going no where if you have this kind of project

I've yet to see an '88-'91 Civic I don't like. Good choice in cars, but I do feel obligated to raz you a little for the spoiler. As is, it does look hideous. The body is nice and clean, but the spoiler is currently drawing attention away from that. It's your car, though, and that's really all that matters. I'm sure the final product won't look nearly as bad. There are two major groups that I've recognized when it comes to modifying these little Japanese imports. Tuners and ricers. Tuners are the ones that know the insides and outs and a lot of the history of the manufacturers of their cars, and they modify them accordingly. Not so much the body, but the engine, suspension, and what not, primarily. Ricers are kitchen utensils used for ricing soft foods by extrusion through small holes... or, rather, almost the polar opposite of tuners. Mainly just build their car up for show, with little to no modification to the engine, suspension, etc. Read up on Hondas a little. It might very well give you a different perspective on them altogether. At the very least, you'll expand your mind so you can school someone who doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. A true Honda enthusiast is going to recognize a properly restored car, especially when it comes to the '88-'91s, and will have quite a bit of respect for the person responsible for the restoration, while, on the contrary, if it's all tricked out with just flashy, aftermarket body mods, you're going to have a negative reaction from said enthusiast, and you'll make Jesus cry.

Do this...

1. get in your focus.
2. have a friend drive your ED towards you at an intersection... you both need to be on the opposite sides of the intersection so that you are facing each other.
3. make sure there's traffic.
4. if your headlamps are significantly brighter than the other cars... you failed.

be lucky some dude doesn't take a bat/crowbar to your headlamps.

this build thread is pretty awesome though... I can't wait for the fridge install, the 12" black and white TV in-dash install, and the curb feelers.

man im not really technical with cars, but i know that cars like this build is wack. i got an hatch myself with worst body paint but im sure it looks better than this one. And im about to do a replacement engine to it and other stuff. ill take care of the body later.
