I have the adapter you need but I don't want to separate it from the filter

That post you quoted is old, around pg 4 the adapter came in

my pioneer head unit gave out so I had to get a new unit. Popular opinion is pioneer units are good if you buy a 90.00+ unit, so I got a sony which had solid reviews for durability.
The controls are horrendous though so I came up with a solution

Nice work, with a compressor and a harbor freight paint gun you couldve painted that car outside and had better results. Great build otherwise.

I added a rear diffuser, radio delete plate, removed all the speakers, antenna delete plate, filled the driver side mount with polyurethane, stainless fuel lines, and I ordered some vision tc mirrors.
Mirrors are not here yet and I'll try to get pics up asap.
I know how to remove the side view mirror plate cover so If you need to know I'll post it here.

traded the 3 point for a dc sports bar with cash from the guy.
It is the wrong one I believe because it required modifying.
Also got a solid rear strut bar.
Take it from me.
Strut bars work but they have to be one piece, no links or swivels or joints.
I'll post pics f anybody wants
The dc bar is incredibly solid and make me want to buy the correct one

Congrats on still keeping this car. I am surprised you've had it this long without AC. When you get older, AC is a must have.

Hey guys, I plastidipped my car flat black,
Put an edm wing
ebc slotted rotors
dc sport header to replace ebay special
Carbon fiber fenders
diy Shift extender(very fun and worth it, easier to select gears)
Heat insulating throttle body gasket
Currently trying to figure out if I can carbon vinyl wrap the wing, but it looks too hard
One of my garnish rear triangles was messed up(my fault) I have a good fix, you can hardly tell.
I bought headlight vinyl and layed it on the rear right one
I recomend the thermal TB gasket for sure. I was skeptical as well. But for only 12 bucks. It's too cheap not too.
Dc ports header is a lot nicer than the ebay special, the down pipe bracket doesn't line up but it seems fine without it. The ceramic coating maes a HUUUGE difference in temperature
I forgot, I got a free dc sports front strut bar and really like it, it's super solid. One piece and can actually feel the difference.
The ebc rotors are nice, I noticed less brake fade(but were talking from myold beat rotors so who knows)
I have to say the seibon carbon hood is crap, fit is bad and no provisions for stoppers or seals. I did end up making it work but the resin they use is cheap and it yellowed.
The carbon creations CF fenders I got did not come pre drilled or anything. I had to make every hole myself. So I got a deal on them
However, I got it to fit really well and it has not yellowed. I know the Seibon comes pre drilled but from the ones I've seen in person, the fit is horrid! and they'll probably yellow too.
Overall I'm happy with the cf fenders
They're not lighter than the soda can thin oem ones.
But mine were too far dented to bother fixing
I made a safety pin for my hood because I don't trust the cf(it shudders at high speed)
It's discreet/hidden
Someone broke my tail lights so I ordered a set, but didn't notice they were siR tail lights and don't have the side light like the usdm si does so I kept my cracked ones and filled the crack with epoxy. Currently have siR tail lights for sale
Feel free to ask me any questions.

"Magic happens"
It's called a Fast Idle Thermal valve. Why do still have a Charcoal Canister? Why not just trace a OEM gasket?
