lol i know man..not yet it isnt! I mainly did this because it was my first car and ive had way to many memories in it to dump it...sentimental value i guess, now im ready to start the 67 camaro!hahaha

Finally she is out on the roads and im loving it. Its been about two years that i havent driven it on the roads and i must say that Ive really missed driving this car. With the teins and the 17's, suprisingly it rides smoother than before! rims are extreamly light for thier size, hardly any problems turning the steeringwheel while it is stationary. hope you guys enjoy the pics, i still have to do a little cleaning on the black trims around the windows/hatch/traingle areas, as well as clean up th engine bay a little..Hope you guys enjoy!

B16 Pulled from my parts car..



Nice and Dirty...




Cleaned up and painted with vht high temp paint..aparantly it holds up pretty well..

vht wrinkle paint..came out okay..not too happy on the sides of the valve cover



test fit with the header...one nut doesnt clear the header at the end..gotta figure something out..

seeing builds like this makes me want to start buying parts for my rex like crazy. i think the 90-91 jdm front end looks soo clean on these cars. my 88 came over from japan with the 90-91 front end on it and i wouldnt have it any other way! haha. crazy props for saving that man it looks beautiful keep up the awesome work!

also, what kind of header is that you have for you b16? it looks pretty sweet lol. does it allow for better ground clearance?

thanks alot guys...lots of work has gone into it..but its not done yet..lots more detailing to do before its where i want it to be as for the headers they are AN-R..it tucks real nicely with the oil pan so im guessing it will be good once its in the car haha..

From the pictures you posted of the rust repair/patching in new metal, it sure looks like you left a ton of rust in there, especially around the new patchwork (i.e., you didn't cut enough material out around the rust). Did you treat those areas with POR-15 or something similar or did you end up cutting it all out and you just didn't post pictures?

Nonetheless, fantastic dedication and props on saving that car.

thanks bud ... i cut roughly around 3 inches beyond where metal was infected by rust.. then i sprayed some rust pervention spray on it and hoped for the best lol...so far no bubbles thank god.. but its only been afew months now since its been finished..time will tell my ****ups LOL

lots of respect for this guy. coming from a autobody backround, i know its a long process in fixing rust, on any panel. from that to the front end, the trim and now the motor including paint. omg, you got my respect.... looking good
