i know man..i looked everywhere for the 90-91 trims but couldnt find any! i guess ill stick with the 88-89 ones for now untill i come across a set!

LoL your not the first person to say that to me hahahaha...the car will be stored for this winter and hopefully i can do a swap over that period..but even if that doesnt happen the car was ment to be driven during summertime only! no more winters for this poor car hahah

i dont have pictures of the process..but i have pictures of the final result what i did was cut out the rust and replace it with fresh metal..i should have bought new rockers but couldnt find them anywhere..surprisingly the rockers werent in that bad of a shape compared to the rest of the car!

as for the replacements i got them locally from a guy here...but they are the same ones sold on ebay...they are actually for a civic ef but with adjustments to the rear end and the bottom they fit the crx!

thanks alot guys! sure did come a long way! ive driven her a few times and it feels much more solid than before! anyways here are some small part updates!

this is probabily one of my favorite parts..the infamous J's lip! one of only 25 carbon fibers made by password jdm! thanks to K20Chris!

Finally got some coilovers! They are Tein Basics, aparantly they give a comfortable ride!


And last but not least i have to get the fork type rlca's inorder to run the coilovers, since the crx is an 88 it has the "box"type rlca's.
No more money in the bank account, that means i have to refinish these oem ones and get new bushings for them until i can afford some skunk 2's !



Getting the bushing out was probabily one of the funnest things ive done during this project! one down 5 to go! :wink:

BY THE WAY WHAT KIND OF WELDER WHERE YOU USEING CUZ IT LOOKS LIKE JUST A WHOLE BUNCH OF TACKS AND WHY DIDNT YOU SAVE YOU A WHOLE BUNCH OF HEADACHS AND JUST CUT OUT AND DELET THE SPARE TIRE COMPARTMENT AND JUST WELD IN 1 FLATE FLUSH SHEET OF METAL. THEN YOU WOULDENT OF HAD TO DO ALL THOSE ZIG ZAG CUTS AND CUT THE RUST OUT IN ONE CUT AND NOT USE A WHOLE BUNCHOF PATCHES. PLUS IT WOULD BEEN A LIL MORE AREO DYNAMIC. You can get rocker panels new from Honda, and they're pretty cheap too, just FYI Good underbody rust repair - I'm going to have to do mine in a year or two as well! Good job repping Canada

thanks guys...heres a little update..the cars being stored now so havent worked on it much...this is how it went in..still missing the side moldings! got the teins on along with the rims...slipstreams will be going on there next year!!
