Ls turbo is the best bang for your buck.....I got a friend who had a 2000 civic hb with b18b turbo...bone stock engine from bottom end up....no headstuds or anything. He ran a 17c turbo off a cyclone with a 2.5 bar map sensor at 15psI and dynoed at 266whp on a street tune, car was sick as hell and torquey as sh*t......but imo I'd do an h2b if you want a reliable daily...I run a built dseries and its been reliable to a point but nothing comparable to an NA car....h2b is going to be my new setup when the money is there and it'll just have the basic I/H/E...turbo is fun, but also headaches...do the h2b and you won't be disappointed

i would try to find a lsd tranny the stock b18a1 is a one wheeler and for the turbo setup i would just get a turbo off of a cat truck they are usually a borg warner s200 series and just get everything else off ebay like your manifold and your intercooler and piping but i would go with a tial wastgate and BOV not ebay junk

A true ebay manifold is junk even the ramhorns. For one the material that is used is some stupid low grade of stainless. Two they are not full TIG welds. And three they are not engineered to make efficient power and hold up doing it. The only ebay turbo component parts that have not failed on my car yet, is the turbo that has been on my car for 3+ years, the FMIC and the charge piping....downpipes and dumptubes have poor fitment issues and must be modified for a nice fit if you are concerned about the fitment
