That Cougar is the ugliest thing I have seen since I looked in the mirror :D At least you won't have to worry about it getting stolen.

Whyd you give up so fast? High 16's with a modded gsr motor in a fully gutted car... you obviously needed some seat time..

I cant see you finishing a rwd conversion, no offence, but Ive been watching your build thread, and you kinda get a gist of someones abilities and how they think things through.

A rwd conversion on a UNIbody short wheel base car like the Crx is a very daunting project

Keep it FWD man, stuff a J series in there if you wanna be different, but dont cut up a Crx just to give up like you did on this

I was having a power problem which was my main problem. But to be perfectly honest I just found that I do not like FWD. So I am going back to RWD.

I do know how hard it will be, and you are right I do not have the skills to do it alone. So I wont be. But its not giving up! It is re purposing!

That has been the plan all along now it will just have a chance of being faster!

I am going to attempt to only narrow the rear as little as possible. I will also try to find some lower offset wheels to run on the street for kicks and giggles...

Well we are getting closer. The long block is sold. Sadly I used that money to pay for my summer trips. 2 of them to the Florida keys for almost a month Good fun. Anyway. The transmission is pending sale and I just let the front knuckle setup I had with brakes and calipers and knuckles and axles... Sold it for $350... Nice profit I say.

For those of you who question this, I will be running 96-2004 Mustang Front spindles seeing as they will fit perfectly into my plan... and the geometry is even close.

Thanks for the support. Anyone who says something like that out of complete ignorance is an absolute piece of garbage. I mean really? Money is the only reason it is not already done! I bought another car. I have a full built 9 inch rear end with 4.56 rear gears and a wavetrac lsd in it.

I am having trouble deciding on what engine combo I want though. K / J or V8???

The only reason this project will not go through is if someone buys the shell off of me for what I have into it. That and the reason it is lightly up for sale is because of douche bags like you in this scene. This is the reason people hate on Hondas man. People just like you. So take a look in the mirror and thank you and your kind for the destruction of the honda scene..

**Stepping off soap box...**

Thanks for everyone who actually wants to see it happen. You all rock!

Why is the bed not lined up with the cab? And I don't think I could ever part with a CRX.

That truck was hideous before you got it and after you worked on it.
Poor thing.
May the overspray of halloween green paint left on the driveway be a reminder for what you should not do to a truck.
Why green... wwwwwhhhhhhyyyyyyy

Im waiting for some money then i will start to refurbish her I'm not starting with a shell nor am I going to make a racecar but customize it and keep it alive for many years to come.
