jdm ef9 bumper on USDM front
Hey i just brought and installed a jdm front bumper on my hatch and the top bumper where the bumper support screws are sticking out alittle. I was trying to read the threads but i didnt find any solution on how to fix the gap.

problem is that you need the jdm ef9 hood/headlights.
they are different then the usdm version. headlights are a little longer (will fill gap) and hood will compliment the headlights. Problem fixed

it looks as though the bumper filler is jdm as well, hence the strange fit.
Ba4 or something like that had a usdm front w/jdm bumper it looks ok

this is about the best fitment ive seen using the jdm bumper with the usdm front and as you can see there still a gap

This looks way better I would say either swap the complete front end or do as above and only change the bumper leaving the USDM Filler, headlights, and hood

This is true ..... you cant expect it to look perfect when your not using ALL the right parts.

I dont remember saying that
oh well
I believe this is about as good as you can get it with the right parts but even than it looks like it can still use a little adjustment

Re: jdm ef9 bumper on USDM front (88 civic ef)
Just found this thread and i had a problem with fitting the bumper in the stock thread holes, the shop that did the install had to take off the thread holes from the bulkhead and had to mount them on top of the stock ones; Is that how the bumper is really suppose to get installed?
