Default Question: JDM EF '88-'91 Civic Hatchback Front Bumper (Inc. Parking Pole)

I was on password JDM, found this item, and i was wondering if anybody knew what the Parking Pole was? Any help would be great!

a parking pole is a pole that goes up from the bumper. it is used in japan so that i think they can park close to the wall or something because they are RHD. but in the US i would put the parking pole on the right side of the bumper because of the LHD.

the parking pole is exactly on the corner of the bumper and has a light on the end. its purpose was to let the driver know exactly where the oppossite corner of their car was for really tight parking, since thats the only type of parking in japan

yeah i saw an EG with a jdm parking pole. It was awsome,im pretty sure they come with a light on the end of them for night time use.

I'm sure you could also custom install a power antenna to a toggle switch for a lot less money. You'd also have bragging rights to a taller pole.

Haha...that would be hella jdm...might as well put one of those Jack in the box fob on top too.
