IACV, IAT, & KS plugs, Check Engine Light
Vehicle Info: 1991 CRX w/ B16a PR3 ecu
Codes: 14 IACV
I've been playing musical chairs with 3 plugs (IACV, IAT, and Knock Sensor) since I've been getting code 14, IACV, since day 1 after the swap. All the plugs are similar so I figured I'm might have plugged the wrong plug into the wrong sensor.
Currently How They Are Plugged In:
IACV - White plug - red, yellow/black
IAT - White plug - blue/yellow, yellow/black
KS - Green plug - blue/yellow, yellow black
From What I Read Online:
IACV - Green plug - blue/yellow, yellow black
IAT - Same
KS - White plug - red, yellow/black
^ Doing it this way, I don't get code 14, but code 23 (knock sensor).
B19 on the pinout is the knock sensor wire. But it's white/green wire. That doesn't match any wire on my plugs!
Why I'm I still getting a code no matter how I plug them in?

Here is your problem all those wire codes are wrong.
- Iat has 2 wires 1 is red/yellow and the 2nd is green/white
- Iacv has 2 options depending on which harness your using:
Obd0 is blue/yellow and black/yellow
Obd1 is blue/yellow and yellow/black
- knock sensor is a single wire red/blue
Keep in mind the knock sensor wire is also a shielded wire.
Sounds to me like your wiring is all messed up. Fix it, feel free to pm me if you need more help, or txt

Re: IACV, IAT, & KS plugs, Check Engine Light
Thank you. That cleared a lot of stuff up for me. I'm not running any codes now except code 23 (knock sensor) when vvt is engaged. I don't have anything plugged in there yet so I'm not suprised.
Just to get this straight, whatever wire coming from b19 on the harness should be the wire for the knock sensor? I want to make sure because I did a bang up job on looming everything really neatly, and don't wanna go through the work of hacking it up, running the wire to the sensor, and re-looming it to find that that wasn't the correct wire.
Thanks in advance.
