are you talking threaded shock bodies (teins) or coilover conversion kits (perch and collar kits). For the later, stay away from anything but Ground Control and Skunk2.

YOur question leaves a question-what are planning to do with the car? With that in your mind-the Koni "yellow" shocks and either Skunk2 (what I use) or Ground Control sleeves are an excellent choice to improve handling and lower the car at the same time. You will need to decide on a spring rate that you can be comfortable with on the street and have better handling on the track. Both companies will help you with that edecision. Koni-IMO-makes the best shocks for your money and I won't use anything else even on my street/HPDE 99 Prelude.

i have Skunk2 with tokico blues, it handles good but the ride kinda sucks, i just got a new skunk2 strut bar today, and i feel a great improvment its tighter, so i suggest getting a strut bar also

when you guys say your "ride sucks" do you mean because the suspension is to stiff and it rides like a dump truck, or do you mean she bounces?? I have kinda shitty suspension on my car and was thinkin about upgrading quite a bit..my car handles mint, but shes quite bouncy im pretty sure my shocks are blown..KYB GR-2's with dropezone lowering springs..also the ride heights arent even equal and not nearly low as i wanted it..any suggestions on the best slam with nice tight suspension?? thanks
