Re: HIDs Help!
I have hids on my car and all i bought was the ballast wiring and bulbs. It has never needed the error eliminator. You only need the error eliminator if the car thinks there are no bulbs plugged in. The ballasts draw enough power to make this not happen though.

Re: HIDs Help!
This is all you will need with the correct bulbs and color choice.

Hope that helps.

DDM TUNING FTMFW!!! i currently have a set of generic ebay HID's (going to upgrade to ddm tuning for Christmas) on my sedan, plugged right into my stock headlight harness and is causing my 0 problems. idle doesn't drop when i turn them on, no relay kit or eliminator needed. these cars aren't that complicated.

Re: HIDs Help!
just make sure to re-aim your headlight down. the new bulbs will be shooting upwards a lot.
i have hid in my ef stock housings. works very nicely. just re aim them is the key. more light will be on the road if you do and it will look a lot more brighter because of it.

idk what difference is between the DDM kit and a eBay kit. they all look the same. have the same kit. i am using one from ebay on my EDM EE8 headlights. no issues at all (its a bi-xenon kit) and same with my 97 EJ8. ive had them on my crx for about 2yrs now and on my EJ8 for 4yrs. neither one has given me any issues.

Re: HIDs Help!
I've stuck HIDs on some other vehicles, like our '50 MG- those buckets made it a tight fit.
With the vehicles I've now converted, the "brights" has been an issue to deal with.
I am planning on popping some HIDs in a couple of our CRXs. Someone mentioned a bixenon kit, which means it can simulate "bright" lights switching. The CRXs have a separate bright headlight, so this is a nonissue. The cheaper single beam HID kit will do.

the kits are all the same. all made in china or taiwan. lol
did you by any chance read the warranty. they claim there may be a non-refundable $20 deposit (almost the price of another eBay HID kit).

Re: HIDs Help!
I have never been charged to return ballasts or bulbs with any company I have used. I'm not trying to say one is better than the other. That's just the difference. I bought my last set of hids on eBay but only because they were slim ballasts.

Re: HIDs Help!
all im saying is read the fine print. if this company charges a non-refundable fee for doing a warranty, i would much rather just buy another kit on ebay with the money from the fee that i would have been charged.
